Terms of Use

The rules for using the CarMirror app and carmirror.live.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the CarMirror iOS application and the carmirror.live website (together, the "Service"), operated under Turkish law ("CarMirror", "we", "us"). By downloading or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the app.

2. The Service

CarMirror mirrors your iPhone screen to a car or TV display through that device's web browser. Video is transmitted in encrypted transit and is not stored by us. The Service requires an internet connection on both devices; quality and latency depend on network conditions.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

Core mirroring features require a paid auto-renewable subscription (for example weekly or annual), purchased through your Apple ID. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel subscriptions anytime in your App Store account settings. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency and may change; changes apply to future renewal periods. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's terms.

4. Safety — Use While Parked

CarMirror is intended for use while the vehicle is parked, or by passengers. Do not watch or interact with mirrored content on a driver-visible display while driving. You are solely responsible for complying with all traffic laws in your jurisdiction; in many regions, video playback visible to the driver while in motion is illegal.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to transmit unlawful content, infringe intellectual-property rights, interfere with or overload our infrastructure, attempt to access other users' streams, or reverse engineer the Service. Room codes are personal to your session; do not share a code with anyone you do not want watching your screen.

6. Content Limitations

Apps that use DRM copy protection (such as Netflix, Disney+ or Apple TV+) block iOS screen recording and will appear black when mirrored. This is a platform restriction, not a defect of the Service.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design and branding, is owned by CarMirror and protected by law. These Terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control. CarMirror is not affiliated with nor endorsed by Tesla, BYD, Togg or any vehicle or TV manufacturer; all trademarks belong to their owners.

8. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CarMirror shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from use of the Service, including use contrary to Section 4. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the three months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for breach of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time; uninstalling the app does not automatically cancel a subscription — manage subscriptions in your App Store settings.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above; continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Türkiye.
